Final Product What You'll Be Creating
In this photography tutorial we take a step by step look at the techniques and procedures used to transform our RAW image capture into a polished image to be proud of. It’s an in-depth post-processing video tutorial, but we’ll show you exactly what to expect after the break.
Tutorial Outline
We start off by looking over the images we have shot, discussing why some may work better than others before deciding on our final selection. After picking our final image we discuss which RAW processing tools we are using, and why we sometimes don’t need to use every single option available to us.
We then proceed to retouch and adjust the image within Photoshop using global and selective adjustments to gently nudge our image towards the final masterpiece.
Along the way we show you how to mask fine details for gentle localised exposure adjustments, how a simple Levels adjustment layer can be used to keep a check on your image for possible clipping damage, and share many other tips and insights.
Watch the Video (40 Minutes)

Such a great tutorial!
Learned a lot from it. Keep up the Good work!
Nice tut, thanks
But it would be nice to have a written one as well to work along with the video, i rather work at my
own pace then have to play and pause the video (just a suggestion).
i second that
I agree as well to have a written guide.
I love your videos, It makes me want to grab my camera and go get images i can tweak right this second. And i am very comfortable on my couch right now and its cold as hell outside, so thats quite a bit of motivation. I like the videos better than a write up to be honest, i can track what you are doing, that way if i cant find something all i have to do is watch your cursor and track back what you clicked on. Keep them coming!
Yep, we have a case here where the best option is a mixed media: in video you can see HOW layers/brusher works BUT for non english native is a little bit a pain in .. ahem i think you get it. Reading i have time to have my toughts about the topic or the step and learning the technique, i don’t have to go forward or else to cacth words, or waiting for buffering or etc etc.
just my 2 cents.
ps the outcome is terrific.
Nice job. Thanks.
