While I appreciate that this thing is free, I’m very surprised at users responses. This tripod is no better than any other $20 POS you could buy at any big box store. Stability will be horrible, extension will be short, it’ll have trouble locking down when a heavy DSLR + Lens is attached and you’ll soon learn why pro tripods don’t use “video arms” on their heads. There’s nothing like being stabbed in the chest every time you lean up to look in the viewfinder.
For amateurs, I guess this might be useful? I dunno. But it’s absolutely useless to those of us with heavy, professional gear who need precision locking with rock-solid stability to avoid even the slightest of vibrations. If I actually won it, I don’t know what I’d do with it. Just being honest.

My current tripod does not swivel. This would be great.
I have a tremor in my finger that is slowly moving into the rest of my hand therefore making it difficult at times to hold the camera steady. I just purchased a better camera in hopes that it will work with my disability somewhat and a tripod would definitely be of significant help as well.
