Definitely towards a new lens. Depending on other sources of income (sic), ‘twould be either a 85mm 1.8, a 100mm 2.8 macro, or (if all of my stars somehow align) a 70-200mm f4 is. Not that I expect anyone to care (besides my wife who would make me sleep outdoors if I spend our diaper money on lens…)

  251. TJ says:

I am relatively new to photography. I lost my job over a year ago and after a fruitless job search of over six months I decided to move on and pursue a career in photography. Its a competitive field, to be sure, and I have a lot to learn. But I’ve purchased a camera and couple of lenses and can be found around town taking hundreds of pictures everyday, hopefully getting better all the time. My biggest problem right now is that I fill up my rather small capacity memory card too quickly and therefore have to quit shooting before I’d like so I can go home and download the photos to my computer. A second, bigger, memory card would surely help me to hone my skills. So that is what I would purchase with the $50.
