Just because you didn’t get to go to that awesome photography conference doesn’t mean that you can’t learn something from the pros! Occasionally, we’ll be featuring a recommended photography lecture or interview on Phototuts+.
Dr. Sarah Kate Gillespie has studied art history for most of her career. She will be release a book soon titled One New Thing Under the Sun about the early American daguerreotype. This is a fascinating for part lecture about the same topic and clearly defines where photography began.
