Just because you didn’t get to go to that awesome photography conference doesn’t mean that you can’t learn something from the pros! Occasionally, we’ll be featuring a recommended photography lecture or interview on Phototuts+.
Vivian Maier’s photography is arguably the most popular street work produced in decades, and it was discovered years after her death. A nanny by profession, her Mary Poppins appearance and honest, bold style have taken the photography world by storm. Her work recently had its first major gallery appearance in New York at Howard Greenberg Gallery. This video is from the Chicago Tonight show at WTTW in Chicago where Maier was based.
