Just because you didn’t get to go to that awesome photography conference doesn’t mean that you can’t learn something from the pros! Occasionally, we’ll be featuring a recommended photography lecture or interview on Phototuts+.
International photographer Amanda Mustard hopes to travel to China to document the remaining survivors of the Nanking Massacre. In December of 1937, the Japanese army seized the former Chinese capital of Nanking. In six weeks, as many as 300,000 civilians were systematically tortured and killed.
Mustard is attempting to crowd source her idea, which is quickly gaining traction. You can learn more about her project, the Nanking Massacre, and her crowd sourcing efforts at kickstarter.com.
