Just because you didn’t get to go to that awesome photography conference doesn’t mean that you can’t learn something from the pros! Occasionally, we’ll be featuring a recommended photography lecture or interview on Phototuts+.
Today, we’re featuring a lecture by Alex Soth given to students at Florida State University. FSU has an excellent photography program, so the turn out was dramatic. Soth specializes in photojournalism, documentary work and portraits. His work is outstanding and the definition of artful editorial work. The lecture is a bit long, but it’s worth the trip. Soth talks about how he developed as a photographer and what he’s up to now.
