Ben Lewis Explores Andreas Gursky

Just because you didn’t get to go to that awesome photography conference doesn’t mean that you can’t learn something from the pros! Occasionally, we’ll be featuring a recommended photography lecture or interview on Phototuts+.

This week we’re bringing you a video directed by Ben Lewis about Andreas Gursky. Last week, a Gursky print sold at auction and became the most expensive photo in the world.

The photography blog, PetaPixel has done a great job covering the recent sale of Gursky’s photo, Rhein II. They also dug up a 2002 video showing an in-depth look into Gursky’s work and the people who love it.

You can learn more about Gursky by viewing the text and clicking the external links on his Wikipedia page. You can visit PetaPixel at their website, www.petapixel.com.
