80+ More Awesome Architecture Images

Before you say it, I know that architectural photography is a mainstay of the photography community. But, there’s no harm in taking another look, broadening your definitions, and looking for new inspiration in decidedly fertile ground.

Below I’m hoping you’ll find something, or several things, that will pique your interest and cause you to venture out into the world of architecture with your camera. The physical achievements of mankind are unashamedly numerous and unimaginably diverse, I believe our fascination with photographing them is well warranted.

In presenting an array of interesting takes on architectural photography, there has been a conscious effort made to cover a whole spectrum of ideas and specific subjects. From abstract architectural textures, to vanishing point shots and cityscapes. The hope is that the selection below will ignite your imagination and give you a passion for capturing not only the famous and obvious, but the intriguing architectural elements around you.

When hunting for worthy candidates, I found a disappointing dirge of photographs from my home city of Manchester, England. Perhaps together we can capture the essence of our cities and towns, and give incredible and interesting architecture the attention it’s due.

Please could you set your blog’s RSS settings so that only the intro paragraph gets sent to newsreaders? Even on a fast connection, the newsreader takes time to download all 80 images before you can skip to the next post.

Suddenly I have an itch to travel to some interesting cities. :) I live in Atlanta, so I get my fair share of architecture to shoot.

Great photos. I counted that I have visited and photographed 13 of those buildings. Hoping to catch the rest of them too. :)

I think its great how the architects create these awesome projects and I think that architecture is one of the reason why I like to travel around the world and why I started with photography. Great photos!
