Hi there! Nice article about the continent I live on. ;-)
Just take a look through my sets on Flickr – they’re mostly from Europe:

A “complete European tour” that includes photos from only five countries? (Europe consists of about 50 countries, depending on the definition.) And it’s not even remotely representative, since you picked the obvious western/central states and left out all of Eastern Europe (and Scandinavia).

Also, please do bit more research: the photo Norge01 was taken in Norway and NOT in Germany.

    Blergh.

I live in Europe so know my countries…… I had only 3 days to email everyone and get this together so I couldn’t do every country.

However I thought about a part two with the other countries I missed (and I know there is a fair few).

I did a lot of research and have been to most of the places in this article, sorry about the one that slipped, Norge01 – was under a group called “deutsch” which looking back now must have meant he was a German photographer. Apologies.

Nice shots from a place I love. One thing though, the Giants Causeway, there might be another one in Europe but that photo is from Australia. Shot from a town called Fingal. The thing that stands out is the placement of the rocks and Cook Island out in the distance…

      Damn.

Good spot. Should have known ireland is not that sunny!

Giants Causeway is a 40,000 interlocking basalt columns in Ireland. I didn’t even know there was one in Australia, even though it is near sydney… where I was last year. Weird.

No worries. Its not near Sydney though, its near the Gold Coast. About a 15 minute drive from the Gold Coast Airport. I only spotted it because I frequent the area. Never the less, still a nice shot :P

I started in Sydney and moved up the gold coast……. went diving and skydiving. Wish I had visited now.

Although I could always get a boat and go over to Ireland I suppose to see the irish version…. (I live in the UK).
