40 Fantastically Fast Photos at f/.95

Now I am guessing that the fastest lens that you have is f/1.4 or higher, which is very fast. But there are some lenses out there which are faster than f/1.4, faster than f/1.2 or even f/1. This article is a showcase of images taken at f/0.95, at that wide of an f/stop you can create incredibly shallow depth-of-field and utilize some really faster shutter speeds. Not to mention incredible low light capabilities.

Nice photos but in my opinion they are not sharp enough. However…I must say that these photos are special…
Does anyone know any good lens of this type?

Leica Noctilux-M 0.95/50mm is a lens of that type, but here in Belgium it costs 8000 euro….

8000€?? This is cheap :) No, really I think that as Alvin said 1.4 is good enough if you consider how much you are paying and what are you getting with an 8k€ lens.

Very nice photos. Unfortunately, most people cannot afford f/0.95 or anything faster than f/1.2 due to their price. I’ll just be content with 1.4. The effects are good enough for me :D

For most of these I think a 1.4 would’ve done the job just fine.
