100 Fantastic Photos Taken With a Fisheye Lens
Today we’re going to focus on a wonderfully distorted area of photography: fisheye shots. Fisheye lenses are essentially extreme wide angle lenses that were originally developed for meteorological purposes but are now used by all sorts of photographers.
As you can see in the images below, the applications are endless and are seldom boring! Hopefully you’ll leave feeling inspired to pick up your own fisheye lens or a (considerably cheaper) fisheye converter.

Hey guys anyone is welcome to share their twitter feeds on this Facebook page. Daily links to tutsplus sites too.
Interesting that people tend to look up with a fisheye lense. After looking at 100 photo’s half of them the sky, i’m wondering if there are any collections looking downward?
v nice thx for this nice post…
got a fisheye 2 but never made hot pics like these ;(

There’s some really cool shots in there, but there are at least two that aren’t fisheye lenses – one is a spherical projection panorama and the other is simply taken out of an airplane window…..
A wonderful set of images. Outstanding creativity.
Fisheye work is such a blast, though the 15mm I’ve used doesn’t give the full effect on a 1.6x sensor. Still, it’s such a blast.

I found that placing my camera with an 8mm fisheye into the washing machine produces interesting images. Just make sure the machine is off!
